A reverence for the motherhood journey has lead me to offer specialized holistic psychotherapy and traditional care practices to deeply nourish you as new mom.

 
 
 
 

In our fast paced world, it is essential to slow down and reorient your mind, body, heart and spirit toward your healing for the long journey of parenthood. Matrescence is a time of discovery and transformation. It is a time to be deeply nourished, witnessed and uplifted. In the absence of community, a parent can feel saddened, overwhelmed, unsure, scared and rageful.  If this is you, I’m certain you are not alone in feeling like you’ve been lied to about a village of support. Looking for the answers within without a greater context of just how your neurobiology is designed for connections will always lead to more guilt, shame and isolation. It’s hard to feel resourced in a society that is struggling to hold a value system that supports health and wellness. Moreover, sometimes you have external support (partner/family/friends) but it just doesn’t feel like enough or that it can't quite detangle the root bound thoughts and feelings you are experiencing. Just like you grew new life, this healing journey will require much of the same commitment and care. You can and will birth yourself anew.

Additional postpartum healing for the body which can includes trauma-informed yoga, reiki, meal preparation, closing of the bones ceremony, and yoni steaming is also available.
