Trauma-Informed Consulting & Training
Need a staff development training? Want your staff to benefit from more self-care strategies or looking to create a trauma-informed culture where self-exploration, compassion and healing are celebrated?
I aim to prioritize wellness for all. There is no shortage of stress and trauma in our world. Recognizing and honoring the lived experience of employees and creating a culture of wellness at work is the one of the most compassionate and effective ways to lead companies. Bringing trauma-informed care not only to the clients that you serve but also to the folks who are in service to others is how great leadership demonstrates it’s core values.
Training topics may include:
The impact of stress and trauma on well-being
Self-regulation tools
Expression strategies
Compassion Fatigue
Self-Care and Creating a Culture of Caring
I offer 1-2 hour trainings and create and facilitate staff retreats.
Additionally, training for agencies wishing to deepen their understanding of how to bring a trauma-informed and integrative approaches to working with birthing people in the postpartum time is also available. Special focus on nervous system regulation, bonding and attachment, trauma-informed parenting, addressing perinatal mood disorders holistically, birth story integration, traditional care practices and planning for the postpartum time.
I’m proud of being part of training so many amazingly committed helpers, clinicians and agencies. Additionally, I was honored to present on the benefits of trauma-informed yoga and compassion at the 2018 California Marriage and Family Therapy Advancing the Art and Science of Psychotherapy Conference as well as the 2019 National Child Advocacy Center’s 35th International Symposium on Child Abuse.
Contact me and we will explore your vision and create more space for authentic leadership that values connections and healing.
